Computer Club
The Computer Club provides a creative and safe learning environment after-school and during school. Students from Polk County High School involved with the Computer Club work with each other to explore their own ideas, develop skills, and build confidence through the use of technology. The Polk County High School Computer Club helps youth acquire the tools necessary for personal and professional success. Students can also use the Computer Club to connect with other students with similar skills and interests. Common conversations between Computer Club students range from expressing thoughts on the latest gadgets to popular MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Games).
Dew Crew
The DewCrew was formed in 2002 as students wanted a way to use their video skills, and provide a meaningful way to contribute to the football team. They volunteered to film the games from the sidelines and press box. The first showing at the annual Football Banquet was such a big hit that they quit inviting guest speakers to the banquet, and now count on the Highlight DVD for memories and inspiration.
